I love to workout! Ok, maybe love is a strong word. I really enjoy the feeling of working hard and the result it brings.
I have family in Nanaimo and, after a visit in 2008, I fell in love with the landscape and the people residing here. I met my husband, who was born and raised here, and that sealed the deal for me to stay here. What a wonderful place to call home.
I have a love for dance and body expression. I have been dancing for 25 years, in the last few, all over the world and I now share that passion through teaching. I offer classes for dancers to build strength and power, focusing on injury prevention.
I have always loved the human body and the way it works so I became a personal trainer hoping to further that passion and encourage others to get up and get moving in safe and effective ways. The muscular systems is so intricate, we can do so many miraculous things, I love being able to explore them.
After having a bundle of joy of my own, I realized that there was a missing link in our fine city for pregnancy fitness and post natal exercise. So, off I went to learn more about the pregnant and post pregnant body. I now enjoy broadening the physical limits for Mothers and soon to be Mothers.
Because every body is different and every body is unique I feel it is so important to tailor physical activity around that particular body for it to positively develop. I believe that together we can build a program to suit my clients goals and maybe have a little fun while we’re at it!
