Easy No Yeast Flat Bread

An easy to make flat bread that can be used in many tasty healthy recipes

Equipment

  • Frying pan, mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • .75 cup Almond Milk No sugar
  • .25 cup Butter salted or unsalted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • .5 tsp salt

Instructions

  • 1. Warm the milk and butter together in the microwave or in a pot on the stove until the butter is completely melted.
  • 2. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
  • 3. Add the milk and butter to the other ingredients and mix into a dough.
  • 4. Seperate into small balls of dough. Roll each ball in your hand then place on a lightly floured surface and knead. Then role with a litely floured rolling pin to your desired thickness. For a soft taco shell go very thin.
  • 5. In a frying pan or a cast iron pan place a 1/2 tsp of oil and turn the heat to medium. Place the rolled dough in the pan. Fry on each side for approx. 1 minute until the bread begins to turn light brown. If it bubbles push it down with your spatula. Remove from pan.
  • 6. Repeat step 5 for remaining dough.
