Strong Core is a back rehabilitation program offered through Pure Integrated Training. The program consist of three levels, Movement Foundations 1, 2 and 3. This program emphasizes the development of proper movement engrams, spinal stability and core strength and endurance. Often people suffering with back pain slowly withdraw from activity due to pain. This leads to people giving up activities they love, losing physical capacity for exercise and only furthering their pain. By teaching spine sparing movement strategies, relief positions and providing exercises to enhance spinal stability the program allows clients to move past their back pain while gaining an enhanced knowledge of how to prevent future occurrences.
What Does The Program Include?
• Build whole body and joint stability
• Increase endurance
• Build strength
• Develop speed, power and agility
Can Exercise Really Help Me Reduce My Pain?
Research has shown that exercise is effect in both reducing pain and improving recovery times in people suffering from low back pain. For example:
- Exercise therapy that consists of individually designed programs, including stretching or strengthening, and is delivered with supervision may improve pain and function in chronic nonspecific low back pain.
